Sneek Peak in the player counsellor exam
3 April 2025The FIFA player consultant exam will take place on 18 June 2025. Candidates must prepare well for both the licensing process and the examination. The exam will be conducted exclusively online with remote monitoring, so no travel to a FIFA member organisation is required. Candidates can take the exam from a private, quiet location, but must use a laptop or desktop with a webcam and a smartphone with the FIFA exam app.
There are no exceptions for professionals such as lawyers, accountants or former players - all must take the exam like any other candidate. The exam is an open-book exam, but only FIFA's official digital study materials may be consulted. Printed documents, handwritten notes and external websites are prohibited. Candidates can choose their preferred examination time and language within the specified deadlines, but no changes are possible after the deadline.
FIFA will strictly monitor the competition, including live webcam monitoring, screen sharing and mobile camera monitoring. Any attempt to communicate with others or use unauthorised materials will result in immediate disqualification. A stable internet connection is required as FIFA does not provide technical support for connection issues. If the connection is interrupted during the test, the attempt may be cancelled. Breaks are not allowed and leaving the room or closing the exam window will result in automatic cancellation of the session.
The results will be published within 14 days. Candidates who do not pass will receive a link by email to view their exam within three days.
Thorough preparation requires not only a deep understanding of the regulatory documents, but also knowledge of the supplementary circulars. We wish you every success with your audit!
